The dawn white foundation & Scholarship

Jeanne Whipple and The Philly Home Girls created the Dawn White foundation in honor to memorialize the spirit Dawn exemplified in the Philadelphia real-estate industry. Dawn was a credit to the real estate community, giving her time and talents for the betterment of the profession and clients she served. Dawn surrendered to a spirited but terminal fight against ovarian cancer in September 2010.

Dawn White

The Philly Home Girls are happy to announce the first annual sponsorship of the Dawn White Scholarship to the Real Estate Institute. Students thick into their current session, which is underway, now have the opportunity to be reimbursed for their Temple University Real Estate Institute fees.

To be considered we are asking that all applicants tell us the story of what inspired them to pursue their real estate license. To be considered, we are asking students submit their essay with a copy of their completed course certificate to dawnwhitescholarship@gmail.com, or enter your essay below.

We would like to emphasize that this opportunity is not an offer of employment, or a promotion for any brokerage, but rather a way to give back in memory of our dear friend and colleague Dawn White.

It is our hope that receiving individuals will begin their real estate career inspired by a professional that embodied the integrity and passion that it takes to be a successful realtor.
