At Philly Home Girls, the primary motivation behind all of our actions is to earn repeat business from our clients. No matter what, any professional recommendation we make is in the best interest of our clients. As is for all Realtor ® members. We belong to national, state and local professional associations bound to a code of ethics that includes policies like, dealing honestly and in good faith. We always aim to impress our clients to the point that they recommend their local, national, and even international friends, family members and colleagues to us. Here’s why:
How We Meet Our Clients
Almost all of our business comes from referrals. This means our clients are so happy with our service that they refer us to their friends, family, and colleagues. There’s no higher honor or piece of gratitude than being recommended by our community of happy clients. While many are local to the Philly area, we can also assist in introducing agents who work in a similar style to ours and align with our values, anywhere across the county and around the world. Yes, county. We sometimes connect our friends and clients to agents who focus specifically on niche markets as close as Bucks County, across the country or as far as France. Know someone looking for chateaux? Appelez-nous!
Networking Nationally Makes Us Better Professionals
There’s something you should know about Realtors ®, they can’t resist making friends with other real estate agents. The biz hosts happy hours and national conferences where we mix, mingle and share tips and tricks with like-minded Realtors ®). The trading of business cards is a ritual we take seriously. Social media allows us to make relationships by shaking virtual hands. We have many people whose ‘gram we follow that we now call friends and share in the joy of their listings, closings, and happy clients.
In addition to our own personal relationships, our brokerage Elfant Wissahickon Realtors, partners with a referral network that aligns with their mission. Leading RE is a global network of top independent residential brokerages in over 70 countries that are recognized for their local-market expertise and a continued commitment to quality customer experience. These agents are aligned with our practices, experience, and customer service at Philly Home Girls. For example, if you’re selling in Santa Fe and buying in Philly, we can introduce you to the perfect agent specializing in your specific location in Santa Fe like the Railyard And Guadalupe Districts.
Finding the One
There’s no better way to describe how important referrals are than to share stories of how they came to be! Here are some examples of how agents made sure their clients were warmly introduced to the best of the best.
More than just a good IG account
Rachel Shaw’s friends recently reached out to see if she knew anyone fabulous in Edison, NJ as they were moving from Philly. Instantly Rachel had an agent in mind that she follows via social media and knew they had the right vibe. But that wasn’t enough to give her a stamp of approval. “It’s important to me that anyone I recommend has the same high standards of customer service that I strive to provide. I like to check out their market share and see if they’re organized and active. Once I was confident they were a good fit, I reached out to the agent and had a chat about my client and what they were looking for. After I vetted them, we scheduled a Zoom for everyone to meet. This way I have peace of mind that I’m setting my clients up for a successful home-buying journey”.
When it’s meant to be
Five years ago Allison Fegel helped her clients, who were then in their medical residency, buy a home in Brewerytown. They stayed friends and kept in touch over the years. When Olga and Romy reached out to Allison about selling their Philly home because they were moving, she tapped into our network to find them a great agent in Madison, Wisconsin. She set up a call with a team that was aligned with her high expectations. Allison knew it was a match when the team mentioned their specialty was working with clients relocating to the area. “I believe I used the word “Kismet” during our call.” Allison recalls. After a long chat, she shared that her clients were moving to Wisconsin for advanced training in the medical field. As it turned out, the team leader's father-in-law was going to be his supervisor. If that isn’t meant to be we don’t know what is!
When two PHG agents are better than one
Sometimes referrals can be in our own backyard, even on the same team! Allison Fegel’s clients were selling their South Philly home and moving up to the suburbs. While Allison is the seller's agent for their Philadelphia home, she knew just who to introduce them to for the best burb's expertise. Teammate Kate Kyle, born and raised in Delco, signed on as their buyer's agent to lead them on their suburban house hunt. They recently went under contract on a beautiful home in Rose Valley!
Mi Network Es Su Network
Translation, “My Network is Your Network”. It’s very common for our friends and clients to ask us for a recommendation for an agent anywhere in the world. One of our past clients reached out to Team Leader, Jeanne Whipple to ask if she knew anyone in Boise, Idaho and was referred to an agent Jeanne knew quite well from one of her professional career development groups based in Boulder, Colorado. The nephew and that agent had a great rapport and very successful experience working together to find him a home in a city he was relocating to but had never even visited. 5 years later, they're all still in touch.
Please don't hesitate to contact Philly Home Girls for any real estate-related needs or questions, no matter where you are or where you're going. We can and will help make sure you're taken care of just like you would be if you're moving in the Philadelphia area.
