So much to love about my home. One of my favorite features is the fireplace- I use it a lot and frequently enjoy a glass or book by the fire; it's incredibly warm and cozy and it is one of the things I will miss most. I also love the different outdoor spaces. I enjoy having a cup of coffee in the warmer months out back in my small outdoor space and watching the Fourth of July and other fireworks on the roof deck. I've hosted a ton of parties and get-togethers in the spacious living/dining space and the fireplace and roof deck are always fan favorites as well. Since I am in the middle of a city block and surrounded by homes and gardens, my unit is incredibly quiet and tranquil. It's truly like an escape or oasis in the middle of the city. It really is the best of both worlds.
Once you walk outside you're within a block or two of some of the best BYOs, bars, restaurants, and shops in the city. I love having a delicious, intimate dinner at Little Fish, grabbing a craft beer and some tasty snacks at Royal Tavern (best burger in Philly!), dancing the night away at L'Etage, going to quizzo at Bainbridge St. Barrel House, enjoying a fabulous brunch at Sabrina's and hitting up the fun shops and boutiques on South Street. I also really enjoy walking to the Italian Market on a Saturday morning for fresh produce, seafood, meats, and cheeses. Anything you could want or need- the gym, coffee, massage or facial, salon, the post office and grocery store are within a few blocks. I love the neighborhood. There is a real sense of community with lots of block parties, festivals and flea markets in the spring and summer. It is full of beautiful, historic homes and friendly, unpretentious people. With the beautiful tree lined streets and laid back, friendly atmosphere you sometimes forget you are in the city -- until you look up and see the skyline a few blocks away!
